3000 graduating students and their parents from over 60 countries observed 1 Minute of Silence for global peace at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC).

Proud moment for us as our Dr Sarasijam Nair – was honored an award for Inspirational Advocate of Universal Peace from Tan Sri Dato Paduka Limkokwing at this event.

4 - 6 OCT 2019 - WORLD REGGAE FOR PEACE SYMPOSIUM (MANJUNG , PERAK)

  • Program director for this event was M. Johan. The program was organized by the Malaysian International Reggae Society (MIRS) and Global Peace Day was invited to organize the peace symposium at this event.

  • 4 Oct we organized a dinner with 160 heads of departments  and NGOs from Manjung Perak.   98.5% participants were local Malaysians.

  • The guest of honor of the event was YB Datuk Dr Mohd Hatta Ramli, Member of Parliament of Manjung & Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development. 

  • Event management by Way2Success.

5 OCT 2019 – LONGEST HUMAN PEACE CHAIN PERAK

  • 2172 local people participated in the longest human peace chain at stadium Manjung Perak. Participants observed 1Minute of Silence after the peace message by Peace Ambassador, Gurumahan.

  • 21 NGOs, Malaysian Navy, Army, Police, school, college students, Special kids, members of the Manjung Municipal participated in this event.

  • The event management managed by Way2 Success & Tasly.

  • The representative of the Chief Minister of Perak, delivered the chief minister’s speech. He encouraged more activities of such to be organized to unite and  embrace peace and oneness in Perak and Malaysia.

6 OCT 2019 - PEACE SYMPOSIUM DIALOGUE

  • Approximately 1000 participants including leaders from various organizations, corporate & government  bodies, ministries, NGOs and students from over 150 countries were physically present at the event.

  • Approximately 5000 over people around the globe participate Singapore, US, India, Kenya, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Iceland, Switzerland, Canada, Middle East.•On record 393 schools both primary and secondary observed 1Minute of Silence at 11.11am on 11.11.19 nationwide for global peace. Totaling up to approximately 200,000 students multi racial multi faith.

  • 63 national Universities/colleges also participated under the directive from Ministry of Higher Education.

  • Through out the day on 11.11.19 friends and like minded peace loving people around the world paused 1Minute in silence for global peace at 11.11am at their respective time.

  • Embracing a day of peace around the world.

  • Program ended with a song sung by a Malaysian International Reggae Icon – Tone Poe – Satu Dunia Satu Harapan - Keamanan/One World One Hope – Peace and press conference thereafter.
